As a human first, 500YTT, artist, writer, human connector and educator of the Journey Home, Laura’s teachings invite us to tend to the intimacies and the intricacies of the human experience and the stories that our bodies hold. She holds safe space for us to come home to ourselves and our communities, to be in our bodies and explore who and how we are.
Finding the practice of yoga as a teenager, it became a place where she learned how to be in her body, move through emotion and take up space with grace. Understanding yoga to be a daily practice of remembrance Laura completed her 500YTT with her teachers at Sempervivia Yoga + One Yoga for the People. Forever a student of the preciousness of life, she believes that the most powerful place we can be is in our bodies and creates a culture of care for us all to land inwards and move outwards with intention.
With emphasis on mindful movements and breath, Laura teaches through a trauma informed lens that weaves self-exploration, lightheartedness and the wisdom of the emotional / energetic body into practice, creating a personalized experience to support us in reconnecting to our feeling bodies. For the practice creates a ripple, reminding us to get compassionately curious about how we show up in right relationship to ourselves, one another and the earth.
She guides us through soft yin and deep flows. Her teachings remind us to come as we are, for it all belongs.
