A 20-hour Immersion into Sound, Rhythm, and Energy Healing
🌟 Course Overview
This 20-hour immersive journey invites you into the transformative world of sound and rhythm as medicine. Together, we will explore the foundations of sound healing, the energetic anatomy of the body, and how to craft therapeutic and ceremonial sound experiences for yourself and others.
From the science of vibration to the intuitive creation of soundscapes, this course is a deep dive into the wisdom of resonance. You’ll awaken your innate rhythm, connect with the natural elements, and learn to work with sacred instruments and energy fields to bring alignment and harmony.
Throughout this journey, Hugo and Gin—both passionate about sound, ancestry and rhythm, —will guide you with care, experience, and grounded presence. They will offer you a balance of technical knowledge, ritual practice, and intuitive exploration, creating a safe and inspiring container for your personal growth and transformation.
Sound is one of the oldest healing tools known to humanity—the creative force of the universe itself. But before it can be shared with others, it must first move through us.
When we personally feel the impact of vibrational therapy on our physical, emotional, and energetic bodies, we begin to understand its power. This embodied understanding is what allows us to guide others with authenticity, presence, and heart.
Through this work, you return to your essence—your soul’s original frequency—and from there, you begin to share sound not just as music, but as medicine.

Gin Perry is a multifaceted artist, ceremonialist, and facilitator devoted to the healing arts. As the owner of Shala Yoga in Squamish, she weaves together yoga, sound, and shamanic practices in both her personal work and the spaces she holds. A teacher, trainer, and musician, Gin creates experiences that guide others back to their innate wisdom and wholeness.
Her path is deeply rooted in Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound. With reverence for vibration as the original creative force, Gin explores how tone, frequency, and resonance shape our inner and outer landscapes. Through kirtan, sound baths, and ceremonial song, she invites participants into a felt experience of presence, spaciousness, and connection.
Gin believes the body is an instrument—one that can be tuned to remember its own harmony. She walks the beauty way with devotion, using sound as a compass to help others express their soul’s song and live with deeper alignment, grace, and purpose.

Hugo Lopes is a Ashtanga Yoga instructor, Men’s coach and Sound Therapist, Co-founder of Man Aligned Men’s work and an activist of Indigenous Rights, Cultures and Traditions through the practice of Ethnotourism.
He believes that all living matter vibrates at specific frequencies and that external sounds significantly change the vibration of different objects - such as our body. The sounds of nature alone instantly provides you a sense of immediate connection, creating an opportunity to release shields and masks we wear in our everyday life.
In this state of deep meditation, participants will be able to access parts of the self that have been hidden, and give awareness and love to a part of the self you haven’t explored yet.
Connect to the source of everything and to yourself, through the guidance of the drums, instruments and heartbeat. Through sound healing, it’s an opportunity to discover the hidden power that exists inside us.
